He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Verdeyen and Clara Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Dellinger Verdeyen of Hagerstown, MD; his children, Julie Verdeyen Jacob (Marcel) of Atlanta, GA, Derek Michael Verdeyen (Janeen) of Stafford, VA, Jill Verdeyen Deer (Alan) of Birmingham, AL, Meagan Elizabeth Verdeyen (Laura) of Amsterdam and Michael Kelly Verdeyen of Pittsburgh, PA; and his grandchildren, Charles Alan Deer (Mary Riley), William Joseph Deer (Dani), Tyler Austin Verdeyen and Hayley Elizabeth Verdeyen. He is also survived by many siblings and other family members.
