He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Petties (Rogers) and Isiah Petties; and his siblings, James Edward and Patricia Ann. He is survived by: his wife Torrance Petties; his daughters, Anita Brown of Beckley, WV, Tanessia Petties of Hagerstown, MD, Tai Mwai (James), Navy and Julia Ings (Chantez) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, DeVante Hill, Taylor Burch and London Ings; his great grandchildren, Harmoni and Honesti Hill; and his siblings, Kenneth Petties of Charleston, WV, John Petties (Anita), Jan Petties of Huntington, WV and Betty Robinson (Hugh) of Dayton, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
