He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh B. Clowdis and Essie Clowdis; and his siblings, Elbert Clowdis (Bud), Baylor Clowdis and Peggy Clowdis Colley.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Davis of Cumberland Virginia and Warren Clowdis (Donna) of Dry Run; and his grandchildren, Micheal Marion (Jamie), Jamie Davis (Ginger), Beth Czeizinger (Brandon), Danny Marion, Belinda Nicks (Brent), Thomas Earnest (Vickie) and Amy Earnest. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
