He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. Van Vliet Sr. and Daisy R. Patton; his daughter Alice White; his brothers, Rocky L. Van Vliet and Frank L. Van Vliet, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, James Shatzer, Jr., Cynthia Shatzer and Twila Van Vliet; and his nephew Thomas Van Vliet.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughter Jessica Talbott of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Lance Wilkins (Kayla), Michaela Van Vliet, Ethan Wilkins (Samantha Wilson), Alexus Van Vliet, Harley Wilkins, Jada Talbott, Jesse Talbott, Jr. and Leo Han; his great grandchildren, Madison McCelvey and Isaac Wilkins; his siblings, Wendy Britner (Ricky), Tina Forrest, Valerie Nason, Bruce Shatzer, Howard "Mike" Van Vliet, William and Bill; his niece Christina Hearn (Tom); his uncle Richard Troutman; and his aunt Barb Troutman. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, close friend.
