He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Milton Zeger and Helen Louise Zeger (Barron); and his siblings, Ronnie, Jay, John, Phil, Terry Zeger, Shirley Zeger, Shannon Cunningham, Carolyn Brown and Pam Cushwa.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Zeger; his children, Richard K. Zeger, Jr. (Holly), Chadwick A. Zeger (Kylee) and Melissa A. Zeger; his siblings, James Zeger, Judy Harper and Susan Weir; his grandchildren, Iris, Sabrina, Devan, Marice and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Addilyn, Kinsley and Blaire.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
