He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Roy Dean and Luella May Dean (See); his grandson Ethan; and his brother Roger Dean. He is survived by: his wife Debra D. Dean (Kesner); his sons, Richard "Richie" Dean, Jr., Langley Dean (Michele) and Orland Dean (Hannah); his grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Skylar, Madison, Kamryn, Kaitlyn, Zachary and Harper; and his siblings, Betty Jean Snyder and Ralph Dean.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fraley Funeral Home (145 N Main St, Moorefield, WV 26836).
