In loving memory of Phyllis Elizabeth Rice of Hagerstown, Maryland, who departed this world on August 30, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy L. Rice; her parents, Floyd Gearhart and Florence Gearhart; and her siblings, Floyd, Lloyd Gearhart, Rachel Respo and Lorraine Wolford.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven B. Rice (Kathy) of Hagerstown, MD. and Kevin L. Rice (Leisa) of Cascade, MD; her grandson Tyler Shetter of Montrose, CO.; and her sisters, Louella Kline (Charles) of Hagerstown, MD. and Betty Marquiss. She is also survived by her two sons and babysat numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Doey's House or the Washington County Humane Society, both of which were a cause close to Phyllis' heart.
