He was predeceased by: his stepfather Bill Koelker; and his siblings, Ed Twigg and Patty Kesler. He is survived by: his mother Freda Long (Welch) of Cumberland, MD.; his wife Diane "Jozy" Twigg; his daughter Hannah Twigg of Jefferson, MD; his stepdaughter Misty Posada (Norman Batres); and his siblings, Tony Koelker (Kim), Bill Koelker (Kelly) and Penny Painter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
