With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Leon Smith Jr. of Hagerstown, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Paul Leon Smith, Sr.; his sister Pamela Sue Polly; and his uncles, Thomas and Leroy Herald. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Virginia Trent (Herald); his partner Beverly Snyder; and his siblings, Kay Trent, Fay Collins and Jeff Smith. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave Smithsburg, MD 21783.
