He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbin Hammond and Vada Hammond (Branscum); and his grandsons, Christopher and Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Anna Grace Hammond; his daughters, Sharon A. Ferrante (Riccardo), Sandy L. Snyder and Sabrina J. Hluchy (Steve); his grandchildren, Beth, Belinda, Keith, Sarah, Brian and Steven; and his great grandchildren, Laci, Alicia, Carson, Evelyn and Irene.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wayside Baptist Church 21303 Leiter Street, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
