He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Malcolm Sr. and Doris Maxine Klein Malcolm; his wife Carol Malcolm; his granddaughter Alaina Malcolm; and his great grandchildren, Presley and Brynleigh Malcolm.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra K. Glass of Thurmont and Linda L. Malcolm Laird of Fort Ashby; his sons, Deron S. Malcolm (Mistyna) of Hagerstown and Matthew W Malcolm (Jennifer) of Hagerstown; his grandchildren, Payton Malcolm, Delaney Hatcher (William), Parker Malcolm, Clay, Kaylee Ricker, Dalton and Emah Malcolm; his great grandchildren, Wrenley Malcolm, Harley Jackson and Everleigh Malcolm; and his nephews, Wesley Glass (Leesa) of Frederick and Tom Nicol of Hagerstown.
