She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth I. Smith (Long) and Charles L. Smith, Jr.; her husband Burton A. Young, Sr.; and her sister Connie I. Mitchell. She is survived by: her sons, Burton A. Young, Jr. (Stephanie) and Jeff L. Young; her nephew Dennis C. Smith; and her grandchildren, Jaime L. Cunningham (David), Connor A. Young and Brody A. Young.
