She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Shipley and Mary Elizabeth Shipley (Dayhoff); and her siblings, Irene Brown, Catherine Brown and Vernon Bill Shipley.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Thomas, Jr.; her children, Michelle Manford Jones (Marvin), Leon A. Thomas III (Shannon) and Carie L. Thomas (Ben); her grandchildren, Tonie Jones, Marvin Jones, Jr., Amber Jones, Chance Thomas, Alex Jones, Zachary Bryan, Terry Jones, Carsin Thomas and Aaron Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Rylan, Aryan and Rylie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
