She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Helman and Clara Helman; and her sister Glenda Helman. She is survived by: her husband Rick Simons; her daughter Kristyn Purdham; her grandson Jordan Purdham; and her siblings, David Helman (Rose), Roger Helman (Becki), Donald Helman (Cindy) and Sue Kramm (Jim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (600 S Potomac St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
