She was predeceased by: her parents, Elston Hess and Isabelle Hess (Medlar); her son Frank William Merrbaugh, Jr.; and her siblings, Elston F. Hess, Sue Renner and Linda E. Williamson.
She is survived by: her children, Dixie L. Pheil (Jeffrey), Tina L. Caniford (Pat), Lisa V. Wishard, Porky E. Caniford (Susie) and Jeff C. Caniford (Mary); her siblings, Harry E. Hess and Elsie L. Bishop; and her nephew David DeCarlo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.
