He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Niswander, Sr. and Margaret Louella Niswander (Woodcock); and his siblings, John Niswander, Jr., Margaret Niswander, Dorothy Hose and Patricia Faulders (Dick).
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathie" Niswander (Trumpower); and his brother William "Bill" Niswander (Betsy) of Hagerstown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
