She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur L. Keefauver Sr. and Viola M. Burger (Davis); and her siblings, Bettie D. Kline, Fran K. Hoover, Roy A. Keefauver and Wilbur L. Keefauver, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Cadmus Metcalf Hicks, Sr.; her children, Diana M. Serafini (Andrew), Mary K. Cone (Kipling), Cadmus M. Hicks, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Joseph D. Hicks (Cris); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Hicks, Alethea M. Hicks, Cadmus M. "Metz" Hicks, III, Hannah M. Hicks, Andrew A. Serafini, Jr. (Kassi), Kristin M. Ecton (Dustin), Caleb J. Serafini (Ashley), Lauren E. Serafini, Taylor R. Cone (Chandler) and Lucas A. Cone (Liz). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
