It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Sheppard (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Clear Spring, Maryland, who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alston Walls and Bonita Walls (Colbert); her husband Nelson Morgan Sheppard, Sr.; her daughter Linda Kay Sheppard; her grandson Clayton Lynn Stoner; her siblings, William "Billy" Walls, Wilma "Sissy" Smith, Betty Barger and Shirley Knode; her children, Nelson Morgan Sheppard, Jr. (Kathy), David Craig Sheppard, Beverly Ann Lorshbaugh (Sheppard), Vicky Lynn (Ron) and Stoner Zello; her grandchildren, Amanda Kay Roane (Scott), Chelsea Danielle Long (Jared), Brian Sheppard, Lisa Mason, Mike Lorshbaugh, Jr., Stacey Kelsh (Jay) and Rodney Lorshbaugh (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, R. J. Roane, Aiden Cornelius, Harper Long, Morgan Mason, Grayson Kelsh, Zachary Kelsh, Princess Kelsh, Harmony Kelsh, Jenna Reese, Rodney Lorshbaugh, Jr. and Derek Lorshbaugh. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Margaret's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown MD 21742.
