It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Linton (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on September 6, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse F. Clayburn and Myrtle E. Mongan; her husband Marvin E. Linton; her son Russell Penner; her sons-in-law, Joe McCormick and Sam Whitmore; her sisters, Helen Russell and Katherine Grover; and her grandchildren, Chris Penner and Debbie Bugg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Whitmore of Athens, GA and Nita McCormick of Falling Waters, WV; her sisters, Mary Wade and Josephine Cooper; and her grandchildren, Marti Holnagel of Crestwood, KY, Margie Jarrendt of Clifton, VA, Sherie Nigh of Hagerstown, MD, Leslie Blair of Washington, DC and Scott Penner of Hebron, MD. She is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.
