It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Haas Smillie of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Moore Haas and James Franklin Haas Jr.; her husband Ronald D. Smillie Jr.; her son David H. Smillie; and her brother James F. Haas, III.
She is survived by: her sister Mary W. Haas; her nephew Jake Haas; her nieces, Kelly Lederman, Julie Rodriguez and Caroline McAndrew; her stepdaughter Bonnie Fletcher; her granddaughter Shilo Mills (Joey); and her great grandchildren, Cole, Aden, Lillia, Josiah and Amaya.
