She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Deloss Wolfensberger, Sr. and Agnes Pearl Wolfensberger (Mundey); her siblings, James Wolfensberger, Darce Brown, Charles "Pete" Wolfensberger, Silas D. Wolfensberger, Jr. and Betty Moore (Jitter); and her son-in-law Pete Carey.

She is survived by: her husband William T. Fahrney; her children, Gary W. Fahrney (Teri) of Palm Harbor, Fla., Jody L. Fahrney of Hagerstown, Ricky L. "Rick" Fahrney (Anna) of Hagerstown, Sherry D. Carey of Hagerstown and Tommy W. "Tom" Fahrney (Peggy) of Amissville; her grandchildren, Scott W. Fahrney, Lauren N. Fahrney, Ashlee R. Copeland and Victoria R. Fahrney; and her great grandchildren, Emeri R. Fahrney, Amira R. Copeland and Phoenix R. Latkovski.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
