With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lutane Desir (Hagerstown, Maryland), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lutane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lutane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lutane leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lina Desir and Monnalice Desir; her close friend Silvia; her son Basma Bisle; and her grandchild Ziya Remy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory to support the fight against cancer.
