Lois Jean Joy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Jean Joy of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther and Wava Geraldine Hoopengardner (Corbett); and her siblings, Patricia Hovermale, Shirley Garner, Gary Hoopengardner and Richard Hoopengardner.
She is survived by: her sons, Ramon T. "Randy" Joy, Jr. (Lena) and James E. "Jimmy" Joy (Crystal); her granddaughter Stevie Joy; her great grandchildren, Ayden and Karlynn; and her brothers, James L. Hoopengardner and David L. Hoopengardner (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other close family and friends.
