She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elvis and Sara Aileen Colquitt Gantt; and her husband Larry James Slater. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Michelle Rudegeair and Edward James Rudegeair; and her siblings, Alpha Anita Khan and Alan T. Gantt. She is also survived by grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
