She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Theodore Plitt Sr. and Ruth Wenner Plitt; her former husband Vernon Lee Washington; her husband George Norris Rath; her daughter Robin Wenner Rath; and her brother Edward Theodore Plitt Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Lee Washington Rath and David Norris Rath; her grandchildren, Blake, Dolly, William, Zach and Sean Rath; her great grandchild Hayden Rath; her daughters-in-law, Mary-Kay Rath and Kathleen Christian; her child Hayden Rath; her sister Dottie Gladstone; her sister-in-law Anna Plitt; and also Liz Knowles.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (101 S Prospect St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John's Episcopal Church in Hagerstown, MD, Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Woodbine, MD, or to Saint James School in Hagerstown, MD.
