She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Edward and Hazel E. Newcomer Bloom; her children, Cynthia E. Baker (William) and Ernest M. Burkett, Jr (Bernice) of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Charles Burkett, Rebecca Burkett, Brian Oliver and Christina Oliver; her great grandchild Alivia Burkett-Long; her nieces and nephews, Sandra Jakoby and Denise Grab; her husband Ernest M. Burkett, Sr; and her siblings, Rosalie Bloom, Barbara Rowe, Beverly Gigeous and William Bloom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be donated to defray the funeral expenses to Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
