He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Cook and Mildred Cook Roser (Bradley); his former wife Rose Marie Cook (Line); and also, Richard and Thomas Roser.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Cook (Blickenstaff); his children, John Robert Cook (Dawn), Zachary Cook, Daniel Cook (Hannah), Donna Wolff, Christine Montgomery (Mark) and Madison Dodson (Seth); his siblings, Don Cook (Debi), Marilyn Cook, Eleonore Taylor (Cook) and Roxanne Crist; his grandsons, Jason Wolff and Eric Montgomery; and his former wife Diana Cook (Gossard).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
