He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stuart Hess and Birtie Virginia Hess (Whittington); and his siblings, Doris Kibler and Stu Hess. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hess; his sons, Brian Hess (Kelli) and Erick Hess (Jenny); and his grandchildren, Cory Hess, Katie Hess and Haley Hess. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle or to the Berkeley County Humane Society.
