He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifford Crews and Harriet Kathryn Crews (Weger); his grandson Caleb Wharton; his former wife Carolyn Celeste Crews; and his brothers, Jim and Steve Crews.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Crews; his daughters, Katie Crews, Birk Stathers, Kristen Luikens (Adam) and Stephanie Sobchak (Ted); his stepchildren, Caleb Ewing, III (Natalie), Abbie Wharton (Kemper), William Ewing and Mike Ewing; his grandchildren, Abby Richardson, Emma Richardson, Amanda Fernandez (Zach), Chloe Sobchak, Kyle Sobchak, Caleb Ewing, IV, John Ewing, Conrad Wharton (Dottie), Libba Wharton, Jamie Tobie (Brian), William Ewing (Hannah), Sam Ewing, Mikey Ewing and Harrison Ewing; his great grandchild Kemper; his siblings, Kay Grenda and Phil Crews (Mia); and his brother-in-law Newt Hasson (Pam).
