With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joanna Dixon (Hagerstown, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joanna left this world on November 15, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Schmitt and Vincent Schmitt; and her husband William Dixon. She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Jennings (Scott), Mary Matthews and Susanne Matthews; her stepson Michael Dixon; her grandchildren, Vincent Caiazzo, John Caiazzo, Sean McEntee, Amy Jennings and Christopher Jennings; and her great grandchildren, Leanna Ratliff and Benjamin Caiazzo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (1525 Oak Hill Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Joanna's name to the American Cancer Society.
