Joann E. King Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joann E. King of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Parsons, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Eckard Sr. and Beatrice Madge Eckard (Jack); her husband William Dale King, Sr.; and her siblings, Leslie Martin Eckard, John F. Eckard, Jr., Paul Eckard, Billy R. Eckard, Dorothy Flanagan, Doris Reynolds and Lucille Eckard.
She is survived by: her children, Joni E. Hartman (Randall) and William D. King, Jr. (Chris); her granddaughters, Beth Anne Dunphy (Martin), Jeanine M. Watford (Evan), Sarah L. Privoznik, Rebecca E. Dolly (Steven) and Jennifer E. Davis (Joel); her great grandchildren, Emma Dunphy, Will Dunphy, John Dunphy, Gwen Dunphy, Alec Dunphy and Harper Q. Davis; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley G. King and Kathy Eckard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
