It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Melvin Harnish (Hagerstown, Maryland), who passed away on April 8, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Harnish and Fanny Harnish (Mason); his son James Leroy Harnish; and his siblings, Loretta Harnish Klima, Gary Harnish and Tom Harnish.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Harnish (Shank); his children, Donald Harnish (Lovesse) of Hagerstown, Douglas Harnish (Molly) of Big Pool and Patricia Miller of Greencastle; and his siblings, Lawrence Harnish of Clear Spring, Fern Weaver of Hagerstown and Theabelle Eddy of Berkeley Springs, WV. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
