He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rice and Margaret Moats. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie M. Rice; his children, Linda Dodson (Erin) of Hagerstown, Timothy Rice (Sheila) of Boonsboro, Earl Rice (Cindy) of Hagerstown and Scott Rice (Nina) of Funkstown; his sisters, Loretta Purdham and Wanda Boyer; his siblings-in-law, Patty Price, Betty Whittington and Robert Johnston; his grandchildren, Brenda, Daniel, Amy, Sarah, Jesse, Kyle, Tyler and Abbie; and his great grandchildren, Kevin, Trude, Lorelai, Levi, Lillian, Nolan, Wesley, Morgan, Anthony and Kaya. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
