She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Rider and Lula Rider (Gruber); her husband Charles William Embly, Sr.; her son Steven Embly; and her siblings, Catherine Cline, Evelyn Kent, Faye Gardner, Peggy Sword, Paul Deeds, John Deeds Rider, Carl Deeds and Harlin "Bud" Rider.
She is survived by: her children, Joan O'Brien (Kevin) and Charles Embly, Jr. (Barbara); her daughters-in-law, Brenda Embly and Melita Wishard; her grandchildren, Curtis Neikirk, Paul Neikirk, Michael Neikirk, Matthew Neikirk, Crystal Cavinder, Audra Embly and Holly Embly; her great grandchildren, Bradley Myers, Casey Myers, Leland Neikirk, Adam Sheets, Nicholas Neikirk, Mikaila Neikirk, Kayden Neikirk, Kinslee Neikirk, Justin Brown, Scott Brown, Jr. and Randy Brown; her great great grandchildren, Brantley, Mia, Haevyn, Bindi Myers and Olivia Brown; and her sister Lois Arnold.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
