It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys B. Charles (Hagerstown, Maryland), who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank B. Babington and Nellie C. Babington (Kephart); her husband Jack M. Charles; her grandsons, Kevin M. Lumm and Steven K. Spalding, II; and her siblings, Janet Babington Stouffer, Leo Babington and Richard Babington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki L. Lumm (Marty) of Hagerstown, Jill M. Spalding (Steve) of Hagerstown and Gina K. Kauffman (Curtis) of Hagerstown; her grandsons, Brian C. Lumm (Kristin) of Boonsboro, Michael P. Spalding (Kimmie) of Waxahachie and Logan C. Kauffman of Hagerstown; her great grandchildren, Henry A. Lumm and Michael P. Spalding, II; and her siblings, Evelyn Gaver, Harold Babington, Kenneth Babington and Gary Babington (Patsy).
