It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Snyder of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in New York, New York, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Terence McBride and Helen McBride; her husband Charles Snyder; and her sister Patricia Black. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Dietrich (Brian) of Clear Spring and Francis McBride (Elizabeth) of Emmitsburg; her stepson Duane Snyder of Jacksonville, FL.; her grandchildren, Casey Taddei, Heather Taddei and Rachel Hudgins; and her pets, Blondie, Rosie, Jasmine, Maggie Mae and Bobby McGee.
