We bid farewell to Geraldine Grace Ridgley of Hagerstown, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Geraldine Grace touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J. Kretzer and Beulah S. Kretzer (Crider); and her siblings, Virginia S. Peters, Geneieve M. Kretzer, Seibert G. Kretzer and Harold P. Kretzer.
She is survived by: her husband Richard F. Ridgley; her children, Richard D. Ridgley (Keria) of South Riding, VA, Rodney N. Ridgley (Shannon) of Leesburg, VA and Barbara J. Elkins (Steve) of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Christopher R. Elkins (Samantha), Patrick B. Elkins (Natanya), Richard H. Ridgley (Anqi) and Jordan L. Crowley (Wes); and her great grandchildren, Christina R. Elkins, Taya F. Haines, Willow J. Elkins and Vincent A. Ridgley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Square United Methodist Church (538 Washington Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
