He was predeceased by: his parents, Elise Witmer Martin and Ira L. Martin, Sr.; and his sisters, Margaret Palmer and Hazel Angel. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Martin; his son Joseph W. Martin; and his sister Elsie Bingaman of Waynesboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
