With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Daniel Hawbaker (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Saint Clairsville, Ohio, who passed away on January 7, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Linford Hawbaker and Mary Stickell Hawbaker; his wife Libby Hawbaker; his children, Ruth Rowe-Tabbutt (John Tabbutt) of Winter Springs, FL and Lynn Hawbaker (Maryellen) of Bettendorf, IA; and his siblings, David S. Hawbaker of Allison Park, PA and Marilyn Hawbaker Cox of Deerfield Beach, FL.. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many beloved relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in George's memory to the church that he and Libby loved and attended, Friendship Baptist Church, 1511 El Rancho Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
