She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Rager and Virginia Crampton Rager; her husband Milton Chaney; her daughter Stacey Chaney; and her brother Terry Rager.

She is survived by: her sisters, Anna Fiddler of Hagerstown, MD. and Joyce Bowers of Hagerstown, MD.; and her grandson Dakota Paris Hoke. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
