She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Heiks; and her grandson Justin Mertz. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Mertz (Donald), Scott Heiks (Carolyn) and Michael Heiks (Song Hye); her grandchildren, Eric Roth (Selena), Samantha Albright (Mark), Emily Tomlinson (Kevin), Benjamin Mertz (Caitlin), Nicholas Mertz, Sean Mertz (Mia), Patrick Mertz (Kristen), Sarah Mertz and Rachel Miller; and also, Jillian, Luke, Natalie, Elijah, Aubree, Jolie, Aiden and Aria.
