She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin L. Kriner and Mary Josephine Peters Kriner; her husband James Richard "Buster" Farris Sr.; her son James R. Farris, Jr.; her grandson Joshua Farris; and her brother James Kriner.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Koons, Barbara Shank (Robert), Mary Jo Reed (Terry) and Joseph Farris (Evie); her grandchildren, Jennifer Farris, Jared Shank, Justin Shank, Bobby Shank, Heather Koons, James R. Farris III, Brad Farris, Jamie Files, Amanda Scott, Shannon Gower and Daniel Gower; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Diamond, Jaequon, Zoey, Carson, Mercedes, Haley, Alivia, Josiah, Micah, Hendrix, Trey, Kaitlin, Braden, Bri, Bradley, Hunter, Abbey and Lauren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
