He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma W. Hauver (Bell) and Stanley E. Hauver; his sister Jane Collins; and his former wife Joanne Devilbiss. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hauver (Pfaffko); his children, James E. Hauver (Gloria) of Burkittsville, MD, Michael S. Hauver (Katherine) of Sharpsburg, MD, Mark E. Hauver (Cindy) of Smithsburg, MD and Elizabeth Hauver of Hagerstown, MD; and his stepchildren, Paula Schultz (Dave) of Hedgesville, WV and Mark Singer (Angela) of Greencastle, PA. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (15 N Main St, Smithsburg, MD 21783).
