She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lee and Icy Virginia Shirley (McIntyre); her son Harry C. Martin, Jr.; and her siblings, Edwin Shirley, Norma Carter, Doris Steadman and Claris Shantz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan M. O'Boyle (Peter) of Hagerstown, MD, Carol A. Martin (Craig Bartles) of Hagerstown, MD, Bonny J. Elliott (David) of Warrenton, VA and Diane L. Martin of Sharpsburg, MD; her grandchildren, Erin Murphy (Ryan), Beth Fimka (Andrew), Lauren Bruderek (Matt), Michelle Seal (Roger), Kelly Reburn, Emily Redman (Jamus), Katie Elliott and Sam Elliott (Hayley); and her sister Jean Sanford of Georgia. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
