In loving memory of Doris Emily McSherry of Hagerstown, Maryland, who departed this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Doris Emily leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Morris and Cornelia A. Morris (Ward); her husband Ralph R. McSherry; her former husband Ivan Helman; her daughter Peggi Robinson; and her siblings, Erma Jean Morris, Shirley Thompson and Melvin Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Collis (Roger), Darlene Helman, Debbie Duvall (Rick) and Victor McSherry; her grandchildren, Guy II (Stacy), Nathan, Angie (Scott), John III, Curtis, Doris (Rodney), Michael, Carrie, Matthew (Amanda) and Diane; her sister Connie Robinson; and also Jeffrey Hanes. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
