He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Ronald Kaempf; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey, Lyndsay, Timmy, Curtis and Kevin.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lester Witek (Marie) of Williamsport, Deborah Martz (Eddie) of Boonsboro and Joyce Kaempf of Frederick; and his friend Colin Cope of Windsor Mills.
