He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clinton Simmont and Elizabeth Augusta Simmont (Ludwig); and his siblings, Helen Batz and Joseph Ward. He is survived by: his wife Karen Jean Simmont; his daughters, Kellie Nicole Remacle (Christopher), Kerry Rebecca Steirer (Jonathan) and Kasey Veronica Rathburn (Brandon); his sister Deborah Navarro; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Lily, Tyler, Eli, Bradley, Luke and Lucy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
