We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024, at the age of 97, David Eron Appenzellar of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry W. Appenzellar and Nellie May Appenzellar (Henneberger); his wife Sydney E. Appenzellar; his daughter-in-law Carol J. Appenzellar; and his siblings, Harry, William, Robert, Merle, Edwin Appenzellar, Julia Thompson, Betty Brierly and Gladys Osborne.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Appenzellar of Martinsburg and Mark Appenzellar (Alison) of Smithsburg; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Gibson and Emily Gibson-Brobst; his stepgreat-granddaughter Evelyn Gibson; and his nephews, Milford Jones (Yu) and Leonard Jones (Debbie).
