“Where to begin... Dave, your spirit will be with me until the day I am called home. You lived a life of compassion and selfless favor to everyone you befriended. Even though you never fathered a child, you nurtured hundreds, if not thousands of love-starved children who are better adults because of your care and kindness. I will miss our friendship that spanned nearly 60 years since grade school and I m a better person for having had you in my life. I miss our talks and shared laughter.”
