He was predeceased by: his brothers, Contrell Timothy Brown and Kevin Brown. He is survived by: his parents, Michael D. McDowell and Vanessa; his daughters, Chloe D. McDowell of Orlando, FL, Saje B. McDowell of Orlando, FL, Ahnya S. McDowell of Greencastle, PA and Dnya E. McDowell of Fayettville, PA; his siblings, Michael Brown of Martinsburg, WV, Whitney Durham of Hagerstown, MD, Camille Winston of Kearneysville, WV and Monica Boyd Cape; and his stepbrothers, Dwight Glenn of Hagerstown, MD and Sean Glenn of Martinsburg, WV. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
